Welcome to Impact Frisco Chapter!

Our mission is to assist, serve, support those who are in need in our community, develop leadership skills among our membership and promote mother-son relationships.

The Impact Frisco Chapter of YMSL was founded in 2016 as part of expanding the YMSL organization.  The young men participating in our chapter typically attend high schools in the Frisco ISD district, some surrounding districts, private schools and home school.  We maintain a membership of approximately 250 mothers with their sons.  Last year, we volunteered over 4400 hours in the community and donated over 500 “Wish List” items to those in need in Frisco and surrounding communities.

Impact Frisco mothers and sons work together in YMSL’s four year program serving their community through volunteering for local philanthropies.  Boys attend meetings to learn about leadership and civic responsibility, financial and budget planning, college and career planning, and other life skills such as cooking, etiquette, and automobile maintenance.

Each year the chapter undertakes a large project for one philanthropy - called the Ultimate Gift -- in which every mom and son works over a designated weekend to provide a dramatic transformation for that philanthropy. In 2018, the Ultimate Gift project was performed for Frisco Lovepacs.
